Tonight’s 7 pm game against the Bulldogs of Georgia may still be quite a few hours away, but that didn’t stop the good folks at SB Nation from previewing this evening’s contest in Athens, Georgia. As it currently stands, the Cats are a 23.5 point underdog.

Just in case you’re a tad hung over this morning and a written preview isn’t your thing, ESPN released a video preview of tonight’s game with Mark Richt’s Bulldogs.

As I’m sure you remember, Georgia was involved in a fairly spectacular game last weekend with Auburn. The Bulldogs may have lost in crushing fashion at the end of the game, but some have supposed that it was the play of their offensive line throughout the game that ultimately cost them. Since the Dawgs had such trouble last week at this position, the Athens Banner-Herald examined their match-up on the line with Kentucky to see if they could find an advantage this week.

College basketball, for lack of a better description, has some pretty talented freshmen playing right now. Kansas has Andrew Wiggins, Duke has Jabari Parker, and, of course, Kentucky is home to Julius Randle. Given this trio’s immense talent, many around the nation are evaluating their performances thus far to determine who is playing the best. USA Today is not immune to this type of evaluation, and recently, they gave their take on how the phenom freshmen have performed so far. Spoiler Alert: Julius Randle received an “A” rating.

The Washington Wizards may have fallen short against Toronto last night, but the former #1 overall pick in 2010’s NBA Draft, John Wall, decided to go off for 37 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists last night.

Big Wall fan but when your point guard only has 2 assists it’s hard to win.
