Randall Cobb will wear blue once again.
After eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers, the former Kentucky wide receiver has agreed to a deal with the Dallas Cowboys, according to NFL Insider Jay Glazer. Cobb will the fill the Cowboys’ vacancy in the slot following Cole Beasley’s departure. Adam Schefter reports the deal is worth $5 million for one year.
Cobb’s best season came in 2014 when he caught 91 passes for 1,287 yards and 12 touchdowns. It’s his only season over 1,00 yards or ten touchdowns, thanks to nagging injuries.
The former Wildcat entered the NFL with a bang. In his debut he tied an NFL record with a 108-yard kickoff return touchdown. It was also the first NFL touchdown by a player born in the 90s.
I guess there’s only one thing to say: How bout them Cowboys?
