The Dallas Cowboys reported to OTAs on Tuesday with Randall Cobb wearing navy and silver for the first time. I grew up a Cowboys fan (childhood bedroom was Cowboys everything) and I still pull for the team today, but it is weird seeing the Kentucky football legend in Dallas gear. It will definitely take some getting used to.

In a new story in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, we learned Cobb wanted to be a Dallas Cowboy months before he signed with America’s team in March. He ran into Dak Prescott shortly after last season and told him, “Hey man, come get me.” Cobb said he handpicked Prescott as the next QB he wanted to play with after he came to the realization that his time in Green Bay was numbered.
Now he is one day into OTAs with his new team, both he and his new fan base are very excited about it, and I’m about to order a jersey and book a trip for a game.
Hopefully he returns to elite form after a down year in 2018.
