Les Miles and Steve Spurrier teaming up to bring SEC Nation to life

Have no fear, college football; Les Miles and Steve Spurrier are back. Sort of.

This morning, the SEC Network announced that Miles will be a guest analyst on SEC Nation the first Saturday of the season at the Advocare Classic, which pits Florida vs. Michigan at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Miles, of course, was the longtime coach at LSU, but was also a player and coach at Michigan, so he’ll have plenty of knowledge to dish out, along with his trademark quips and wit.

If that’s not enough to make you tune in from 9 a.m. to noon on September 2, Steve Freaking Spurrier will also make an appearance. Honestly, I’m not sure the set can contain the two, nor will I be able to contain my excitement should they start telling stories.

The turf on the field at AT&T Stadium is obviously fake, but will that stop Miles from trying it out?

I’m sorry but if they do this the right way and let these guys loose this has potential to be really entertaining, both guys are great quotes. The only problem is I find that it is difficult to “unite” the different fanbases especially SEC football where there is so much hate between teams sometimes that there will always be a complainer.

I know a way to unite 13/14 SEC fanbases. Whether you’re a Wildcat, or a Commodore, or a Volunteer, or a Game (not sure I can type the rest without getting moderated…), or a Razorback, or an Aggie, or any of various the Tigers or Bulldogs, or whatever Bama fans call themselves (Uncle Dad?), one thing we can all agree on:

      F#$@ Florida.

This is must-seeTV. I wasn’t going to watch this game before because I don’t like either team, but now I *have* to watch.
