First!! (Is that still a thing?) 🙂

I will be taking my dad to a doctor’s appointment in about ten minutes, so won’t be able to post much in the ST. However, I did hear Tom Leach interviewing Reid Travis, and apparently Reid is a huge Seinfeld fan! So there’s that. 😉

    1. J-Dub421

      Good luck at the doctor.

I just knew Reid would be cool. He should come hang with the show thread; he’d fit right in.

      Keep us posted buddy. Prayers.

Ha! Matt use the term “rogue”. Time to cue up the “who steals soap?” guy. 😀

      Least he not be a knave;
With full respect to Fake Sir Brandon.

Well crap – I was planning to take my family to Panama City or Destin for fall break the week after next. First time in 3 years we get to go, and now a hurricane is headed right for it. Hope it is not as bad as predicted. And of course the boss just left for at least his 4th cruise this year and nothing ever happens on his trips. I must not be living right…

Make it a mountain vacation instead.

    2. ClutchCargo

PCB is our regular spot for summer vacations. I’m hoping they make it through without too much damage.

Am I the only fan who thinks TW looking bad may be more about how good A&M’s defense was? They did after all almost beat Clemson and would have if not for a horrific call.

    1. cats646

I think their defense is one of the best in the nation. But I think our defense is better and their QB didn’t look like a deer in the headlights. Idk why, but he was scared. Scared to take a hit, scared to run it, scared to throw it. I think he will fix it though and I think he will make a great QB. Just had an off night.

    2. runningunnin.454

A&M defense was definitely good; but, they did not call our plays, and we didn’t dance with the one that brung us. We ignored our strength, and put the game entirely in TW’s hands.

    3. 4everUKblue

I agree RG, the play calling was horrible, I think TW was put in a bad situation. I’m just sick of the idiots putting all the blame on TW.

    4. ClutchCargo

Stoops says he was pissed off by the way they lost that game despite a tremendous effort by the defense. That’s the part that bothers me the most, too. Hopefully he is pissed off enough to not allow a crappy offensive game plan to happen again.

    5. runningunnin.454

Definitely, can’t put the blame on one person. I think the coaches will regroup, and the coaches and Terry learned valuable lessons.
I hate that there’s no game this weekend, and we live with the loss for 2 weeks, and wait, wait, wait…

    6. J-Dub421

That was not our offensive line’s best night. Hopefully we have a chance to regroup and get everyone back healthy with the bye week.

    7. ClutchCargo

Definitely looking forward to the rest of the season. This loss doesn’t have me feeling sad and hopeless like a lot of them in the past have. I’m convinced this team can and will bounce back with a vengeance.

    8. runningunnin.454

To be fair to the OL, Terry was too hesitant in the pocket before deciding to run. And, several times he had an open lane, and didn’t attack aggressively….too much dancing.
But, I think he will learn and fix that.

  5. runningunnin.454

The FBI probe mentioned UK, Duke, UNC, NC State, LSU, Michigan State, USC, Texas, Alabama, and Auburn in addition to the ones that have dominated the news.

    1. ClutchCargo

Where are you seeing this? Google has failed me.

    2. ClutchCargo

    3. J-Dub421

UK was barely mentioned. Again, if they had ANYTHING concrete on UK/Cal it would be front page news.

    4. ClutchCargo

As long as Duke is right there in the mix, we and all those other teams should be just fine. 😉

  6. runningunnin.454

Don’t know why; but, I would like to play Notre Dame in a bowl game…I guess because of their great history. Some earlier projections had that happening.
But, ND is undefeated, and may win out; that would put them in the playoff.

    1. J-Dub421

I look forward to watching them get walloped by Alabama then.

    2. runningunnin.454

Alabama will wallop anybody; this is Saban’s best team ever.

    3. 4everUKblue

True RG, Tua is special and I love watching him play, but they have so much talent it’s scary. Good article here.

    4. J-Dub421

Alabama looks like they could beat quite a few NFL teams this year.

  7. J-Dub421

We cannot lose Drake Jackson. He is super important.

  8. runningunnin.454

How do you wear a jersey ironically?
