    1. runningunnin.454

Working today and tomorrow, and that means what to me? Booooo!

    2. Stuck on Blue

YES! And we have basketball tonight and football tomorrow. Life is good.

    3. runningunnin.454

Yeah, and UK basketball is on the SEC network like 6 Fridays in a row; bet the other SEC schools are loving that….whaaaat?

    4. RealCatsFan

Is Blue/White game on SEC Network?

    5. runningunnin.454

      Yep, I think 7:00.

    6. Realme

Yes., RCF. Also the 2 tv exhibition games and the first real game.

    7. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

      Woot!

  2. Realme

Spread seems too high. This is a winnable game for us. Not easy, but still.

  3. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

    Mmm, steak!

    1. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

In a meeting. Please take minutes and report on the show. 😀

Let me know if it’s as memorable as Drew indicated.

    2. runningunnin.454

Can’t hear show; but, a Kentucky breakfast is a 10 oz steak, a bottle of bourbon, and a dog.
The dog’s there to eat the steak. Hee Haw

    3. Realme

I’ll let you guys know if anything more exciting than mooing noises happens.

    4. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

      ^^^laughs^^^

    5. Realme

      Ha ha, for the minutes:
11:39 and Ryan is eating blue cheese that has a fly stuck in it.

  4. Realme

I feel like someone on a Vermont to Starkville road trip should get to meet the team or something. Yuck.

    1. RealCatsFan

Yeah, you are driving from the land of Larry and Darryl and his other brother Darryl to the land of Cletus, Bubba and Possum. 😉

    2. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

“Darryl, I told you to do that AWAY from the road!”

  5. Realme

I too wish we had Stephen longer.

    1. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

      Hear hear!

    2. J-Dub421

I you aren’t on the SJ train yet, I question both your fandom and your intelligence.

  6. RealCatsFan

Not sure about cows, but I speak with some authority that horses will try to bite the crap out of you.

    1. Realme

If anyone can get bit by a cow, it will Ryan.

    2. runningunnin.454

Don’t worry about the cows….the bull,on the other hand. I had to jump a barb wire fence one time with a very mad bull on my heels.

    3. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

Hopefully the guys don’t get gored.

    4. J-Dub421

I’ve been bitten by a horse. They definitely bite. At least the jerky ones do. It hurts.

    5. Realme

Wasn’t there a show once where they were talking to someone who had their finger bit off by a horse?

    6. J-Dub421

I got bitten on the arm and there were bruised teeth marks on my arm for two weeks afterwards.

    7. RealCatsFan

I got bit by one when I was ten years old on my uncle’s farm. Hurt like hell!

Another RCF story – I was out fishing in the country with a few of my redneck buddies. We were in middle school, and we had to climb a fence and cross a field to get to the pond. Standing out in the field was a large member of the bovine family – definitely didn’t have udders. I asked if it was such a good idea to go out there with that bull standing in the field. To which my buddy Denny (“Dumb Denny” we used to call him) said “Aw, it’s just a steer. It won’t bother us!” So we jumped the fence and started walking. We got maybe a hundred yards and the damned thing came after us. Ran like hell and made the fence just in time. Denny looked back over the fence and said, “Damn, that steer had nuts!”

    8. runningunnin.454

I feel like I know that guy; went squirrel hunting with a guy, there was an owl sitting on a fence post with it’s back to us; the guy threw up his shotgun and shot the owl. We were over 100 yards away, and it just ruffled it’s feathers. It turned it’s head around all the way, and stared at the guy. Then, here it came, the guy barely made it to the truck. That owl had to be 3 feet tall. Ha ha

    9. J-Dub421

Isn’t it illegal to shoot an owl?

    10. RealCatsFan

Ha! Revenge of the Owl! I hung around with a bunch of nuts. Had another buddy who used to spoil squirrel hunting for us because he had severe arachnophobia and went nuts every time he walked through a spider web in the woods. His yelling and flailing scared every squirrel away for about 2 square miles.

    11. runningunnin.454

Of course, against Federal Law; but, this guy is an idiot.

    12. RealCatsFan

J-Dub – yep, absolutely. All raptors are protected, including buzzards. My neighbor had a Blue Heron terrorizing his koi pond, and he couldn’t kill it because it is protected as well. Woodpeckers are protected too, but that didn’t stop my brother from taking matters into his own hands when a pecker started hammering holes in his house. (Hmmm, maybe I should rephrase that!)

    13. runningunnin.454

RCF, went squirrel hunting with another guy; he was ahead of me and walked up on a rattlesnake; we couldn’t see it, just heard it. He turned white, and asked what should he do. I told him to back out exactly as he went in. Never did see it. I saw him sometime later and asked if he had been squirrel hunting lately…he said no….I can’t take my eyes off the ground.

    14. Realme

My aunt in Illinois had a heron eat all of the fish in her koi pond too. How rude. But GBH’s are so cool.

    15. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

It is soooooo beautiful to go on a dolphin cruise near dusk at Gulf Shores and see herons flying just above the water.

    16. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

And sometimes you can walk up on one who will stand there waiting to be fed. Some of them get used to being fed by folks who are fishing.

    17. Realme

      That sounds awesome.

    18. J-Dub421

Try putting a mesh netting over the koi pond. A friend of my parents did this to keep ducks from eating the goldfish in his pond. It worked, and no harm to the ducks.

    19. Realme

I think she gave up on the koi pond entirely since I’ve been there. On another note, I didn’t know a duck would eat a goldfish.

  7. RealCatsFan

BTW Matt, we are all still waiting for that big party you were going to throw if we beat Louisville last year. 😉

    1. DrSayre

I always thought the party in Louisville he was talking about, was the party he talked about if we won the title in 2012.

    2. Realme

There was supposed to be one if we beat them in Football last year. But there are a lot of things they mean to do…

  8. Realme

In addition to not knowing what to do with his hands, Matt doesn’t know what to do with his face when he’s not talking. He makes some bizarre faces at the beginning of his persicopes / tv appearances.

    1. RealCatsFan

… and there’s that nose whistle thingy too. 🙂

  9. RealCatsFan

I will be in Rupp Fighting that Foo on Saturday night! One of my favorite bands.

But now I fear for the well being of Dave Grohl. He is one of the last remaining members of the Grunge movements. Leave him alone, Matt!

  10. secrick

    Haven’t been able to get on today till now, Just want to say the Football game Tomm will be a tough one and if we win it we will win 10 this year. GO CATS [thats a lot of w”s}

    1. RealCatsFan

Yep, hope we can pull it out. Would be a huge road win.

    2. J-Dub421

Georgia is the only game left on our schedule that I think we cannot win. Every other game, including MSU is up for grabs.

  11. J-Dub421

Rick’s ego cannot handle that his image has been completely shattered.
