      Let’s keep the song going:

“Comes from are ‘n’ be and soul”

    3. runningunnin.454

The beat of the drums, loud and bold. The merry Mr. Chuck Berry.

      Ring, ring, goes the bell…

I think I got 2 songs mixed up before. lol

The cook in the lunch room is ready to sell….
And there’s this guy behind me, see, won’t leave me alone.

Was listening to Tom Leach’s show, and he was interviewing Mike DeCoursey. He was lamenting the poor call that was made when Wisconsin drew a charge against WKU when their player ran into the path of a WKU player and flopped. Which prompts my question: Is Wisconsin the new IU? I find them equally annoying, not only their fans but their tactics on the court.

    1. runningunnin.454

Ha ha, don’t know;but, Indiana has a better record, and they’re only 5-5.

    2. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

And they wear the same colors. But no peppermint stick warm-ups as far as I know.

    3. RealCatsFan

Sounds like Matt agrees with me that it is a crap play. Glad Cal doesn’t try to pull that crap. One thing I like about him – he just has his kids play straight up honest basketball. No flopping or BS like that. I honestly would like to see Cal’s reaction if one of his kids tried to pull off a blatant flop on his own.

    4. J-Dub421

Yeah, I hate that kind of play. It was a cheap shot and a flop.

    5. ukjaybrat

i dont hate that as much as running underneath a guy driving to the basket. at least in this play, the kid was just not paying attention and ran over a dude that was in legal guarding position. when you run underneath a player who’s driving and take a flop, that is cheap to me.
i actually like this play. sucks it was against wku though.

    6. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

Even Rickie P suspended that Chris whatever for that egregious flop against us.

    7. RealCatsFan

cg, it was Chris Jones. Friend of mine who is a UofL fan referred to him as “effin’ Jones” from there on out. 🙂

Took off for the UL game; extra bonus of UK football, let’s get two big wins.

    2. RealCatsFan

I still can’t believe the timing of that game. And this would have been the perfect year for me to have a UK/UL watching party.

  4. J-Dub421

Us UK fans who live in Louisville are tough because we have to deal with all these troglodyte Louisville fans all the time.

  5. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

Boy, if L’ville had a team called the Colonels or Thoroughbreds, that would be so awesome.

  6. ukbradstith

I’d love to have James Wiseman, but he’ll end up at Memphis. Tubby will be gone and Penny Hardaway will take over. Wiseman will follow Haraway to Memphis, along with a couple other really good players Hardaway currently coaches.

Now I need to find that video of BCG and the blocked FT. 😀

    1. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

Post it! I don’t think I’ve ever seen it.

    3. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

Actually I guess I did see that. The BCG years are a blur. Was that the SEC tourney game we lost to them with no crowd?

Also, who was the GA coach?

  8. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

Actually the first thing dictators do after taking power is start executing their political opponents. See Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Saddam, etc.

    1. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

Of course I listed the worst examples, but I know what Matt was doing there. He was comparing Jurich to Trump, and I don’t deny Trump’s has an ego, but there was another president who told Congress that if they didn’t send him the legislation he wanted that he had a pen and a phone.

    2. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

      Trump not Trump’s…

Oh, and not trying to start a “P” argument. Just making an observation.

      GO CATS!!!!!!

    3. RealCatsFan

Is the end of Net Neutrality part of Trump’s plan to control the media? I’m sure there will be conspiracy theories sprouting that this is so. I have my doubts – I think it is more of a simply money grab by the Internet Providers who have been greasing the palms of politicians for years to get this passed. Part of my job involves running a small eCommerce company so this could potentially affect my business in a bad way.

    4. J-Dub421

Congress continues to sell out the American people to huge corporations.

    5. RealCatsFan

Preach on Brother Matt. Although, to be fair, if you put up a web site selling gizmos, you still have to do some form of SEO in order to get exposure on the first pages of search engine results like Google and Yahoo. That is a big deal and part of what I have to do every day. So Google has AdWords, which allows you to pay to get page rankings. That is probably the single biggest moneymaker for Google. You can spend tens of thousands per day on paid rankings, and most of the big companies do. It’s a lot harder for the little guys to compete with the big fish these days, and the repeal of the Net Neutrality laws will only make it harder.

    6. RealCatsFan

It truly is starting to look like the main goal of the Trump administration is to systematically roll back and dismantle anything that the Obama administration did, whether it benefits the average American or not.

    7. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

I’ve been kind of confused about net neutrality, but I’m a free market guy, and the more I read about it I think things will be just fine. They were before that and it’s only been 2 years. If carriers in Kentucky wanted to charge just for access to KSR, it seems to me they would have already done it before the regulation. I could be wrong about that, but I believe in “the invisible hand” that Adam Smith & Milton Friedman talked about.

On the Google thing, I’m still amazed at how those guys figured out how to monetize ads/adwords and for the company to become such a behemoth as a result. Unreal.

    8. J-Dub421

CG, the net neutrality rule was put into place in 2015 for this exact reason. ISP’s wanted people to pay for their on-demand movies etc., so they started throttling Netflix streaming. Hence, the net neutrality rule. Most regulations get put into place because somebody tried to do something dirty.

Was Stoops on the show this week?

    1. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

I don’t think so. I missed some shows but they usually post interviews with the head coaches after the show is over.

    2. ukkatzfan

Ok thanks. I heard matt mention he may be. But I also get “distracted” during shows also.

  10. J-Dub421

Fitch was a great rebounding guard, but I don’t know if he was a better rebounder than Briscoe or Rondo.

    1. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

Delk was a great rebounding guard.

  11. J-Dub421

Indiana is 5-5, they can’t talk smack to anyone.

  12. J-Dub421

Enjoy this amusing video of Trey Lyles video-bombing Jamal Murray’s post game interview earlier this week.

      Continuing the tradition. lol
