The Kentucky Wildcat volleyball team took care of business in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Led by a team-high 17 kills from star outside hitter Leah Edmond, the Cats dominated the Murray State Racers in a 3-0 sweep to move on to the Round of 32.
Edmond led the team in kills, though Alli Stumler (12) and Brooke Morgan (10) each finished with double-digit kills. Gabby Curry led the team with 16 digs, followed by Stumler with 15. Setter Madison Lilley also added 43 assists to lead the team.
The individual game scores were 25-18, 25-17, and 25-19 to close things out.
With the victory, the Wildcats move on to take on Purdue tomorrow for a Sweet 16 bid.
