Fresh off his official visit to Lexington, Isaiah Gibson has narrowed his list of schools to three and Kentucky made the cut. The three-star defensive tackle from Springfield, Ohio just announced on Twitter he’s down to Kentucky, Purdue, and Wisconsin.

One of the nation’s top fifty interior defensive linemen, Gibson is coached by former Wildcat Moe Douglass and plays alongside four-star UK commit Moses Douglass at Springfield High School in Ohio. Kentucky has one defensive line commit in the 2019 class so far in Cavon Butler, so if they can lock down Gibson, they’ll be in pretty good shape moving forward.
Unless plans change, Gibson will announce his commitment on September 19. Right now, Wisconsin has 54% of the predictions in his Crystal Ball, followed by Kentucky with 38%.
