We will soon know where Kalil Branham will play college football.
The talented four-star wide receiver from Columbus, Ohio will announce his college decision Monday evening at 5:00 p.m.
The No. 350 player in America according to 247 Sports, Branham previously committed to Michigan. He reopened his recruitment after attending UK’s spring game. A few weeks later on May 3, Branham officially visited Kentucky, his only visit since removing his pledge to Michigan.
A 6’1″ athlete, Branham has track star speed and an incredible work ethic away from the field. A teenager who recently taught himself to play piano by ear, he’s the most intriguing recruit I’ve ever interviewed. I will be shocked if he does not pick Kentucky Monday night.
Recruited by Vince Marrow to be Kentucky’s “next Lynn Bowden,” a few of Branham’s field-flipping touchdowns will remind you of Bowden’s high school highlights.
