JUCO Defensive Back Quandre Mosely Commits to KENTUCKY

For the second time today, Kentucky received a commitment from a lengthy cornerback.

Quandre Mosely announced on ESPN Radio Coastal Georgia that he will be a Kentucky Wildcat.  The Arizona JUCO defensive back picked UK over Utah and Oregon.  Mostly will enroll at UK in January for spring practice.

“That was the best fit.  When I went there I felt like home,” Mosely said.

Mosely will be the 21st signee in Kentucky’s 2019 recruiting class.  247 ranks Mosely as the No. 2 junior college safety and No. 16 JUCO prospect in America.  After playing safety in junior college, the sixth 2019 signee from Georgia will move to cornerback at Kentucky.

When Mosely was asked what kind of player the Big Blue Nation is getting, he responded, “The best player in the world.”  See for yourself:

The hits just keep on coming. This coaching staff serves a lot of credit in how they turned this program around. We are on a whole new level now.

He scared a guy so bad he just fell over. Hahaha

With his speed, athleticism and the way he intercepts it we may need him to play on both sides of the ball. I think he caught more passes then some of of our recievers.

This fills a major need for next years campaign

My bet for the Matt Jones mystery transfer guy is now DEFINITELY 4 star QB Jarren Williams-

    1. J-Dub421

At this point, I think I’ll stick with Terry. Jarren Williams is inconstant.

    2. damage_control

Remember though- Jarren redshirted this year and has to sit out next year, so he’d be ready to go after Terry’s senior year.

    3. damage_control

He only threw one pass at Miami, so it’s impossible to tell how “inconstant” he is too.

    4. ClutchCargo

I’m not saying we shouldn’t take him, but I like the Xavier Peter rumor better than this one. Plus Jarren has flaked off on us twice now.

    5. damage_control

I’m not saying good or bad, I’m just saying that he’s pretty much guaranteed to be the transfer that Matt’s been teasing us with for the past few weeks.

Canes fans on 247 are taking it really hard. lol

I wasn’t calling him inconstant, regarding his play. Nor did I mean inconsistent. I meant he’s inconstant because he committed to UK, then decommitted, then recommitted, then decommitted again, then committed to Miami, and now after a year, he wants out of Miami too.

I couldn’t make a life altering decision like that when I was 19 without going back and forth and back and forth and….

  6. J-Dub421

Woo! I was worried about replacing Mike Edwards (he does everything and is underappreciated). Mosley looks like he could handle the task.

    “lengthy” cornerback?

    adjective /?le?.?i/ US ? /?le?.?i/
?C1 continuing for a long time:
    a lengthy discussion/process
Many airline passengers face lengthy delays because of the strike.

    1. damage_control

      Sounds better than just “tall”.

    2. ClutchCargo

It’s different than tall, though. You can be tall and not very long/”lengthy” if you have short arms.

    3. damage_control

True Clutch- An update is needed for the dictionary definition.

    4. JerryCat

Lengthy is a football term. There’s no dictionaries on the football field…Nerd.
