Another home game, another official visitor.
When Kentucky hosts Missouri, they will also be hosting a talented junior college cornerback. Ronald Williams will be making the trip from Hutchinson C.C. in Kansas to watch the Cats take on the Tigers.
Since Michael Smith was added to the coaching staff, the Wildcats have gained significant ground on the recruiting trail in the state of Louisiana, landing quarterback Amani Gilmore and cornerback Kelvin Joseph, and recently hosting defensive back Joel Williams on an official visit. Ronald Williams is the latest Louisiana product to visit UK, hailing from Ferriday, he first received a scholarship offer when Vince Marrow took a private jet to Kansas during the bye week.

The quick turnaround for Williams’ official visit is a good sign for the Wildcats, who are seeking a commitment before other schools begin heavily investing into the 6’2″ top 100 JUCO prospect.
He’s not the only junior college player UK has targeted. This week Kentucky extended a scholarship offer to offensive tackle Jeremy Flax, a 6’6″ Detroit native that’s ranked by 247 Sports as the No. 51 JUCO prospect in America.
