Jarren Williams will Attend the Kentucky-Tennessee Game

Kentucky’s most important recruit in the 2018 class is coming back to Lexington.  Quarterback Jarren Williams announced on Twitter he will take an unofficial visit to Kentucky this weekend to watch the Cats take on Tennessee.

For recruiting worriers, this is GREAT news.

Williams visited Alabama on September 30 to watch the Crimson Tide throttle Ole Miss.  That visit, and increased interest from Ohio State caused concern among some die-hard recruitnicks.  Saturday’s visit, his first of UK’s 2017 regular season, should put those concerns to bed for now.

It will surely be another huge football recruiting weekend.  We’ll share an extensive list later in the week; until then enjoy some of Williams’ latest highlights.

We better open up our offense or we may lose another recruit here…..again.

He has. Twice. Can’t sign yet though.

so worries of him seeing Alabama destroy ole Miss and increasing interest from Ohio St should be put to rest because he’s coming to a UK game? Well, if we win convincingly over a terrible UT team maybe, but if its close, or god forbid we lose, he is gone.

The good thing about that is Bama is playing the freshman Hawaiian kid some and he’s a stud. Better than Hurts already IMO. If A QB wants to have any shot of seeing the field before AT LEAST their junior year they better not go to Bama in 2018. That said, if he watches us play I’m not sure why he’d come here either though.

agree with others, it is good he has not seen our offense play much this year, that can only help us. If we play like this vs a bad Tenn team he will probably leave. Shame that Mac Jones left us for Bama as he will probably not even play there. Looks like when Hurts is done that Tua kid will take over, man we could have used Mac. We are not set at QB if we lose Williams and BBN Hoak is not the answer just because he looked good vs our terrible secondary in a scrimmage. He was horrible vs good teams in high school and his family seems to be more trouble than he is worth. I know QB’s are hard to judge how good they will be so hope he proves me wrong as we need that solid play at that position.

Yep. Mac will never see the field over Tua. He’ll either transfer or ride pine for 4 years and collect a couple rings.
