For Mark Stoops, nothing is more important in the recruiting process than getting kids on campus. Similar to the show put on for Matt Elam at the Georgia game (you remember Vince Marrow’s “Y”), the football staff brought out all of the bells and whistles for the elite talent, most of whom had never been to Lexington. Junior Day is the first step in planting the seed- many of the 2014 commitments attended Mark Stoops’ first Junior Day. Here’s what some of the top talent from the state and around the nation had to say about their big day.
It’s safe to say defensive back Jaylan Foster enjoyed his time in Lex.
I will always remember this night , s/o to #BBN for the love ✊✊

Mikel Horton’s high school teammates from Lakota West are VERY high on the Cats. Clayton ‘C.J.’ Stalker (right) couldn’t have a better name for a linebacker and George Asafo-Adjei certainly looks the part of D-1 offensive tackle.
You don’t think Swag is important? 4-Star Ohio linebacker Anthony McKee was impressed with the J’s on the B-ball Cats’ feet.
All the starters for Kentucky got on retros 11/12👌👟🏀 that swag
