University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Easter Weekend’s Saturday Links

-Both UK’s baseball and softball teams won opening games last night against SEC opponents.

-The SEC has a real chance to improve its basketball credibility with the hires at Tennessee and Missouri.

-Speaking of Missouri, Frank Haith apparently “broke up with Mizzou via text.”  Cold blooded.

-Jahlil Okafor never expected to play college ball with Jabari Parker or Rodney Hood.  Guess he expected the “One and Done” culture at Duke to play out this way.

-The NCAA is considering eliminating the immediate eligibility given with a hardship waiver, replacing it with an extra year of eligibility.  This rule won’t apply to coaches.

-Apparently nobody wants the Tennessee job because UT fans are still pining over Bruce Pearl.

If the NBA adopted the rule that was talked about yesterday!
Would Cal back it, or not?
With the “Players First” theme he’s adopted, it seems he would have to back that plan!
Any plan that gives the players more “options”, would be good for them! IMO

Personally, I think it would ruin CBB as we know it!

how many days until big blue madness?

you see, when a coach as great as the benevolent Mike Krzyzewski (moment of silence at the speaking of the name) …………………… recruits players who come in knowing full well they will only be at his esteemed university for only 1 season, he is merely adapting and adjusting to the state of basketball and using that opportunity to possibly change the players mind about being a part of his legacy. When the despicable Coach Calipari (moment of vitrol to curse his name) ……….#$#%^&@*&#……. recruits players who come in knowing full well they will only be at his university for only 1 season, he is ruining college basketball for the world

Mike Alden got a taste of his own medicine with that text from Haith. He had a radio color analyst inform Quin Snyder that he was fired.

I for one am glad the Pearl is back in the SEC. I think it would have been great if TN rehired him. We have so few good coaches in this league.
