For a moment, it looked like Dontaie Allen’s historic senior year was in jeopardy.
Playing in the championship game of a holiday tournament at Pendleton County High School, Dontaie Allen suffered an injury in the first half. The UK signee never returned to action in the second half. Many were concerned about his long term health, until his Pendleton County coach told multiple reporters that x-rays were negative. Allen took to social media to personally calm all concerns.
To everyone asking, I‘m okay. There are no serious injuries, thank you all & thank God??

The injury happened a day after Allen scored a career-high 57 points, his sixth 50-point game of the season.
Moving forward, Allen is considered day-to-day. Pendleton County will return to action for three games at the Ashland Invitational, beginning next Thursday at Blazer High School.
