Don’t Forget…KHSAA Sweet 16 Finals at 2

Photo from KHSAA.com

Lost in all this NCAA Tournament hubbub, the finals of the Sweet 16 for the boys high school basketball crown tips off in Rupp Arena today at 2. Pretty bad timing for fans wanting to watch that game AND the Cats, but I’m sure most will be checking their phones constantly.

Either Scott County and Covington Catholic will take home the big trophy today. Good luck to both schools.

Take a stand, Wilder! “Good luck to both schools”? Go Cov Cath!

CovCath’s first trip to the finals since 1967. It would be quite a story. Go CCH!

When I first saw the Fathead I thought “Why does someone have a Fathead of Ronnie James Dio?” Then i noticed it’s the guy on the left of the free throw lane.

No need for the KHSAA qualifier in the title. We all know what the Sweet 16 is, and it ain’t got nothing to do with the NCAA regional semifinals.

    Which one beat Trinity?

      Scott county recruiters beat Trinity

It is very possible going by the year Scott County had, they had a better recruiting class than Kentucky. Makes me sick, if my school don’t make it (which they normally don’t) I root for the small schools or the 8th region.
