Mark Stoops, Vince Marrow and the Kentucky football team could be rolling the dice with two elite talents very soon.
Today Kentucky is hosting former four-star All-American cornerback Eric Glover-Williams, according to Bill Greene.
Glover-Williams was the No. 4 cornerback in the 2015 recruiting class when the Canton-native committed to Ohio State. After playing sparingly for two years with the Buckeyes, Glover-Williams transferred to Miss. Gulf Community College two games into the 2017 season.
Since he left Ohio State, Kentucky has been actively recruiting the elite athlete. Eligible to join the program in January, do not be surprised to see a commitment from Glover-Williams before he leaves Lexington.
Glover-Williams’ high school highlights show incredible athleticism.
There’s one more name Kentucky fans will be happy to see back on the recruiting board: Shocky Jacques-Louis.
The three-star Florida wide receiver was committed to Kentucky for three months in the spring. He re-opened his recruitment, flipped to Tennessee, then removed his Tennessee pledge after Butch Jones was fired.
Jacques-Louis has picked up offers from Oregon and Ohio State his latest decommittment, but KSR is hearing the Cats are currently in the driver’s seat. There’s no indication when he will pull the trigger and make a final decision, but a win on Saturday would go a long way to get the receiver to join UK’s roster for the spring semester.
