The number’s don’t lie, and a final 27-16 tally against I-75 neighbor Eastern Kentucky puts UK at a technically unbeaten record of 2-0. But an SEC school trailing 13-10 at halftime against an OVC squad isn’t a good look. Clearly, there’s still plenty of clean up to be done.

Snell took a reprieve in the first quarter to nurse a rib injury, but prompt locker room x-rays came back negative, and #26 returned to rush for 103 yards, 100 of which came in the second half.
Snell’s point of view? “It felt bruised, and I needed the first half to get loose and to get used to the feeling. Second half, I’m all gucci.”
100 yards in a half? Gucci indeed.
