Kentucky football may be taking a break for a few weeks, but we saw one of the biggest college football weekends we’ve seen in quite some time.
We touched on some of the last night’s wild results this morning, including Clemson’s demolition of Miami, Oklahoma dominating against TCU, Georgia’s revenge blowout against Auburn, and Ohio State squeaking out a victory against undefeated Wisconsin.
As a result, the College Football Playoff committee announced today the final four teams are Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Alabama.
It will be Clemson vs. Alabama in the Sugar Bowl and Oklahoma vs. Georgia in the Rose Bowl.
So far, the public opinion has been interesting…
I'm no Ohio State fan. BUT THE BUCKEYES JUST GOT ALL-TIME ROBBED OF THE FOURTH SPOT IN THE PLAYOFFS. OHIO STATE IS BETTER THAN ALABAMA, WHICH GOT DOMINATED BY AUBURN AND WHOSE DEFENSE GAVE UP 150+ RUSHING THE LAST THREE GAMES.

The #CFBPlayoff Committee, when they’re asked why they chose Alabama when they didn’t win their conference and didn’t beat anyone over conference champs Ohio State and USC: pic.twitter.com/x7IJGYHwdB

Alabama gets in at No. 4, and the committee got it right. Good for them.

Yeah, I mean, Ohio State has nothing to complain about. Don’t lose by 31 to Iowa.

Soooo don’t book tough out of conference games anymore folks. #CFBplayoffs

Kirby Hocutt: Alabama was clearly the No. 4 team ranked team in the country even as a non-conference champion.
