RALLY TOWELS are coming to Kroger Field Saturday night

Get hyped, BBN because RALLY TOWELS are coming to Kroger Field on Saturday night. That’s right, white rally towels will be handed out at the gates prior to Kentucky’s game vs. Mississippi State, which kicks off at 7 p.m.

Speaking of the game, there are still plenty of tickets available via Ticketmaster:

UK is also offering several ticket promotions to fill the stands:

  • $26 tickets for teachers via the Extra Yard for Teachers promo (Unregistered school districts may register by 5 p.m. on Wednesday with Nathan Schwake at [email protected] to be eligible)
  • $42 tickets by texting KENTUCKY to 20123
  • $10 tickets at the Paintsville cash-only flash sale on Thursday (time and location TBD)

Don’t forget about the Stripe Out:

The last time Kentucky broke out the rally towels, the Cats beat Tennessee. Let’s hope for the same outcome on Saturday night.

So, all white towels to further blur the coming “stripe out”?

At least it’s not a failed attempt at a checkerboard out?

      LOL!!

Most likely, it will distract from the fact that we as a fan base struggle with doing organized things like “stripe outs” at games.

Much easier to pull off on hot nights so theres a chance we do it. Much more likely someone has a blue or white tshirt than they do a blue or white jacket if we tried this in November.

Why didn’t they hand out blue or white rally towels based on your section at the gate? Seems like that’d be easier than a stripe out.

I don’t like calling them rally towels you rally when your loosing

      You’re*

And your grammar needs rallying towels.

      Hahaha

Most other venues POVIDE the “stripe out” “black out” etc. by placing T-shirts in the sections instead of relying on the fans themselves?

Frustrating that there are that many tickets still left but that map at least looks a little better than it did Monday. Predict the lower bowl will be full and upper level will be full except the corners. Which I would take at this point.

Same. It’s ridiculous that in a game this huge we can’t sell out. Even the fair weather fans should be buying tickets. WE BEAT FLORIDA!!!!! Everyone that can, go to the game!!! It’ll be worth it when we win and are in the top 25 for the first time in 11 years!!

    2. Mathlete

It’s expensive to go, good lower bowl tickets cost almost $100 each after Ticketmaster fees. Even nosebleed seats cost $50 each, and then your have to drop even more on a parking pass or walk for miles. A lot of fans would rather go to a game like SC where they think we’re more likely to win.

I’ll be there this weekend, but I get why it’s tough to sell out games nowadays. I could go watch at KSBar (or some other fine establishment I guess) for 1/4 the price and have a great time too. I just happened to be lucky enough to afford to go

I get it that it’s too expensive for some people. And I’m not bashing them at all. I’m just saying the ones that can afford to go will wish they did if we win! I’m just pumped!!

uk athletics screwed over more than half their longest season ticket holders after the remodel by forcing them to move if they wanted to re-buy. my family had the same 6 seats for 20 years (since before it was a bowl) and we haven’t gone to a game since because of how bad we were treated. sure, they got some big one-time donations to sell tickets the first year after the remodel, but they lost thousands of loyal season ticket holders. itll take a long time before they fill it up consistently again (if ever).

HELP! I have been a bad dad and never have purchased Junior Wildcat Club memberships. What better time than game week of the Stripe Out game. I purchased for my 7th and 8th grader last night. I have been emailed that tickets MAY be distributed electronically 2 days prior. Can any JR. Wildcat Club folks confirm for me? Looking FW to it but would feel more comfortable with tix IN my possession. Thanks!
