Mike Edwards will Return for his Senior Season
by Nick Roush on January 9, 2018 at 5:00 pm

One more year! One more year!

Mike Edwards is back at Kentucky for one more season in the Bluegrass.  Kentucky’s leading tackler in 2017 made the announcement via Twitter.

Most expected Edwards to turn pro after his junior season.  The decision for Kentucky’s leading tackler (Edwards) and sacker (Josh Allen) to return for one more year is HUGE for Mark Stoops’ 2018 defense.

Edwards is making the right decision for his career, and the stars are lining up for a breakthrough UK football season next fall.

I thought Edwards would definitely go. I am so happy to get him back!

For UK to have a “breakthrough” season the defensive line has to be able to pressure the quarterback. I am glad Edwards is returning but it won’t matter if the line doesn’t play better.

anyone else thinking that Mac Jones might be ready to transfer out of Alabama?

    1. kydrummer says:

Not just Mac Jones but Jalen Hurts too

Mac Jones will go for sure. No way he will ride the pine. He thought he could see playing time but his playing days are numbered if Jalen Hurts sticks around, which is more than likely. Good to have a back up QB that has taken a team to the national championship game right?
