Mark Stoops hopped on Finebaum to talk about his brother Bob’s retirement

Mark Stoops didn’t expect to be back with Paul Finebaum so quickly after he was just on during the SEC meetings down in Destin last week. But, when your brother spontaneously retires from one of the most prestigious programs in football and leaves everyone wondering why, people are going to want to know your thoughts on the matter.

That was the case with Mark Stoops, who said he was very happy his older brother, Bob Stoops, was able to go out on his own terms at Oklahoma. Mark insists there’s no bigger plot here than Bob was simply ready to move on to the next phase of his life. “There is no hidden agenda here whatsoever,” Stoops said. “He just felt it was time.”
