Lynn Bowden’s Lucky Forward Fumble Sets Up a Kentucky Touchdown

Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good.  Lynn Bowden was good, then lucky.

Leading 20-7 in the third quarter, Eddie Gran dialed up a screen pass to Bowden on third and eight.  Bowden effortlessly made his way down the sideline, picking up 35 yards before a Vanderbilt defender popped the ball loose from the freshman’s hands.

The ball rolled, and bounced, and bumbled and stumbled down the sideline.

Charles Walker fought for the ball to save the day.  On the next play, Benny Snell scored from the one, his 27th career rushing touchdown, a new school record.

That play normally doesn’t go Kentucky’s way, but it did today.

FINALLY, keeping the foot on the gas with a lead. Good performance Cats. Listen people, we are 2 plays away from being 9-1 just think about that.

Our football program stinks and will always stink. Who would want to play for us? It gets old that kids say the school they decommit from is a top their list. Just shut up and say I will NOT be going to UK

Here comes another 2-10 season everyone. I predict 3 straight seasons without an sec win. Next years team may even be worse than this team. Everyone thinks barker is the golden child savior. Hilarious

We suck so bad in football I really forgot that we were even playing a game at all until about 9. We are pathetic in every way possible. From the coaching to the players this football program is pathetic. Can we just take football away from the university It is pointless to play. The only thing our football program is good at is making a bad name for the university and making any team look awesome, How sad is it when your team cannot even win a conference game in 2 seasons. Absolute joke. laughing stock of all of football

What about all of the “6-6 at best” comments.

Good work Big Board! Slater is an idiot!

How about that intentional grounding. The pass interference on conrad.. Plenty of factors negatively influencing this fan base. Maintain optimism as the Prince not a king pointed out with the fumble recovery!

Stoops, I hope you’re reading this. If Lynn Bowden is not the starting quarterback next year, you are wasting the most talented player to put on the blue and white since Randall Cobb, and since a long time before him. We have seen the legs, we have seen the arm, and we have seen the gamer attitude and steely glare that he wears every second on the field. Dude is elite. Could be the next Manziel, Lamar, RG3 if you put the ball in his hands on every play. I’m completely serious. Come on, BBN, would you rather have Barker and Snell in the backfield on every play, or Bowden and Snell. Really, truly think about it. Start the movement. Bowden for heisman 2018.

8god not that ur wrong but stoops has a lot of better things to do than keep up with the KSR comments section

8g… what? Just because a person is talented, doesn’t mean you put him as your starting QB. He has to learn the entire offense as a QB, and then he gets his shot. Lets ease up. Kid is way talented, but let’s see if he earns that spot

    3. satcheluk

He should not be the QB unless they all are hurt. Keep moving home all around the field and returning kicks seems like the best use of his talent.

  4. Parker_UKFanNC

As long as we get Jarren Williams we won’t need to

  5. Blue Bill

And RC started at QB his last two years???

  6. notFromhere

Cobb should have been the QB. Joker didn’t know what to do with him, though. Stuck on his nfl style Peyton manning offense… Had he recruited to Cobb being QB, we could have had some great seasons

#kychopsticks👌🏽💯. AGSlater is a baffling nit whit who more then likely plays with his pecker when he gets nervous… bbn hater is what that is.
