Damn! Has Drew become a University-6 fan or something? 😀

Love seeing Coach Skinner getting some props. And if UK Men’s BB brings home #9 and Nick Richards is a big part of that, we will need to put Leah Edmund on next year’s list for helping Nick with his, er, confidence. (Big Hands, I know you’re the one) 😉

I do t come to KSR for Violent Femmes references, but when I see them, I comment on a job well done.

It’s gotta be Josh Allen or Mark Stoops. Josh Allen is the first Kentucky player to ever win a National PLayer of the Year award, and the football team won 10 games for the first time in 40 years (including a win over Florida). I give the nod to Allen simply because he did something that has never happened at Kentucky before.

Benny would be third on my ballot. He broke the all-time rushing record. But that’s a career achievement, and although he had a good year, Allen’s was historic.

Moore is from S. In. He just played a few games for unholy trinity after they illegally recruited him. Why would be make the list? Nice work, Allen, Stoops and Snell

Can’t disagree with you on this, Mash. Sydney is a stud athlete. Fun to watch! She will do great things for Team USA.

Sydney McLaughlin has to be in top 3. I love UK football and what a great season but when you see how Sydney dominated, and looked like it was easy, she has to be top 3. Am sure Stoops would say #5 is ok and let Sydney McLaughlin have #3 or even 2 ahead of Benny. I would vote 1. Josh 2. Sydney 3. Benny 4. Stoops 5. Justify. Skinner is a good top 8 vote and probably need Floreal in the top 10.

Two other track team members are NCAA champs, I would have listed them instead of Moore who just played in Louisville, not did not live in Kentucky. At least the college athletes live in the state while going to school

I would’ve thrown in Sean Hjelle…. gotta give baseball some love too for what they’ve done lately!

This is a crazy competitive year! Any of the top 5 or 6 would be a unanimous pick most years.
