Another day, another honor for two of Kentucky Football’s brightest stars. Josh Allen and Bunchy Stallings were named First Team All-Americans by The Athletic this morning, adding to their growing list of postseason accolades.
By now you’ve heard plenty about Allen’s incredible season, so here’s what The Athletic wrote about Bunchy.
“A two-time SEC offensive lineman of the week this season, Stallings has allowed just half a sack. More important in a run-heavy offense, Stallings has been the top lineman blocking for All-SEC tailback Benny Snell, who has racked up 1,305 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground.”
Earlier this week, Bunchy and Allen were named First Team All-SEC selections by the Associated Press and the league’s coaches. National recognition is even more icing on the cake — err, pancake.
