The SEC has honored Denzil Ware for a second time this season, naming him Co-Defensive Lineman of the Week for his performance at Vanderbilt.
Ware had two sacks and his first career interception in the win against the Commodores.
On Monday, Mark Stoops called Ware a player who takes things to heart and wants to do right by his team. “It’s a sign of maturity and a leader,” Stoops said.
Ware shares this week’s honor with Missouri’s Marcell Frazier, who also had two sacks for the Tigers.
