Deebo Samuel suffered broken leg; out for the season

It’s nothing but excitement and celebration around Big Blue Nation, but let’s take a brief moment to acknowledge the unfortunate injury the opposition suffered in the game.

South Carolina’s Deebo Samuel suffered a broken leg and will miss the remainder of the season, Will Muschamp announced his postgame press conference.

Samuel is Carolina’s Heisman candidate and the receiver who scored the touchdown on the game’s first play. He’s a hell of a football player and we’re saddened to hear of his injury.

Terrible. Such a talented kid. Wish him a speedy recovery.

Dude tried to come back out and play after taping up his broken leg? That is a bad man.

Yikes. It is pretty bad ass how he tried to pull the old Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. “Merely a flesh wound.”

How does a training staff miss a broken leg? That’s a tough kid for going back out there and trying to keep going for another series, but damn!

I don’t know, maybe it wasn’t broken at first, but because he continued playing on it, it finally broke.
