Caesar’s Palace sets Kentucky football’s over/under win total at 6.5

Last week, FanDuel set their opening lines for the 2019 college football season, with Kentucky’s over/under win total set at six.

Today, Caesar’s Palace also set their opening win totals, with the Wildcats coming in at 6.5 (-125) and tied for ninth with Tennessee in the conference.

Elsewhere in the SEC, Alabama led the way with an over/under of 11 1/2, followed by Georgia at 11 and LSU and Florida both tied for third at 9 wins.

Here is the entire list:

Coming off a historic 10-3 season, solid depth returning, and a favorable schedule next year, I’m hitting the over on that one.

We never get respect. But I honestly think that’s some of the things that fuels this staff and team. I’d take that bet!

    Over all day…

Quit calling it free money unless you can look at the schedule and absolutely 100% guarantee 7 wins. When I look at the schedule, I see a definite 6. Can we win 7 or 8? Sure! Will we? I hope so. But Vegas hasn’t made their riches by being horribly wrong all the time. We graduated 12 starters. 6 wins in the SEC will be there for the taking. 1-2 more we CAN take, but it’s not definitive. Quit saying otherwise.

God forbid… I hope this doesn’t happen, but imagine a Lynn Bowden injury. Just imagine it, and tell me it’s free money. That’s what I’m saying.

I personally think we can go 9-4 with a good bowl game victory

All depending on injuries. We were lucky last year.

I hope prognosticators are wrong but most are saying the same thing- maybe 6 or 7
Stoops is not an aggressive game coach and fears losing more than lights out go for the win- the experts know this- this is the SEC where you put the ball in the air and when you do have someone at QB that has the ability to drive the ball the length of the field in the last 2 minutes of the game- for the win, not hopeful to not loose. Game one- Toledo- could be telling

You must have missed the Mizzou game last year where TW drove the team down the field for a game winning TD with no time left. He did what he was asked to do last year and he was a FR in terms of playing SEC level football. I think he did damn good for a 1st year guy. Is why a lot of FR don’t usually play much their 1st year at the QB position. Is hard to do and especially in the SEC.

I think we win 7-8 games, but given our history acting like we are being disrespected is ridiculous. The last thing we need is a sense of entitlement for a program that hasn’t earned it.

    I’ll take that bet

I’d say 7-5. They have a very easy non conference schedule so 7 or 8 wins is not outta the question.

I could see us winning just six. But I can also see us winning every game except Georgia. I do have faith in stoops

Take care if business at home and vandy on the road, works for me.

Just my opinion. 7-5 should be solid expectation, 8 wins is probable, 9 wins would require upsets.

    Opp Win Rate
    vs Toledo 100%
    vs EMU 100%
    vs Florida 40%
    at MSST 40%
    at SC 60%
    vs ARK 75%
    at UGA 30%
vs MIZZ 70% (no Drew Lock anymore)
    vs Tenn 50%
    at Vandy 75%
    vs UTM 100%
    vs UL 70%

I do remember the mizz game and was thrilled- actually shocked- hopefully Terry has more of those throws with consistency this year. Hopeful but guarded
