Not to suggest that KSR has a tendency to JUMP THE GUN (see Williams, Jarren) … but aren’t you jumping the gun a bit?

This seems a bit silly when we have several sports going full blast right now and are getting ready for a major bowl game. IF this happens, this article would be great at that time … if it doesn’t happen this was a complete waste of time. And IF this happens, KSR will probably repost this whole thing again.

    1. ibescootch

Do you have any idea what journalism is?! The ENTIRE point of breaking a story is being the first person to put it out there. Matt and KSR haven’t said it was a done deal, and if you read their articles understanding that they’re simply putting info out for us to make our own decisions on, the site makes much more sense. And you won’t have to flip out anytime they break a story. I guarantee if we heard this info on ESPN, KSR would be ridiculed for losing their touch and not being connected.

    2. Smyrna_Cat

Ibescootch. Sorry if someone ran over your dog. 🙁 This isn’t journalism. There is no “breaking story” here. Sorry. When it becomes “breaking news” then break it.

    3. satcheluk

They broke the news by every definition. He announced his intention to transfer.

    4. michaelb

I’m kinda feeling like that too Smyrna. In so tired of FB recruiting news that lets me down . We have experienced a lot of the harshest kind lately despite what other people might say . So I’m like okay great but not gonna read much into it till he takes the plunge. So yea shut up ksr. Imagine if they did this type coverage to every kid considering Kentucky … which they have

    5. satcheluk

You don’t have to read. Sorry if you have rejection syndrome. Normal adults have the ability get their hopes up and deal with it when it doesn’t work out. It’s not so devastating that we can’t take it anymore. You might try counseling.

    6. Trueblue44

No, we have experienced one single incident that didn’t go our way. Other than that, this staff is killing it on the recruiting scene.

    7. JoeMoney333

satcheluk: Normal adults don’t try and make fun of strangers online.

    NOT signed, sealed, and delivered.

    Until then, all is speculative.

    Speculative.

  3. Irish son

Screw him. He played us once. Let him go to Cincinnati

    1. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

^^^Dumbest comment of the year, and that’s saying a lot.

Xavier, not real UK fan agrees with Irish son. Come on down young man!

    2. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

      No real UK fan…

    3. Irish son

I bet you would take your wife back after she cheated lol

    4. Jesus H. Chrysler

      Is she hot?

    5. Thetruthshallsetbennyfree

If she’d help win him a championships why not. If he didn’t take your mom back you might be a welsh son.

    6. StillBP

Equating a kid playing football to a cheating wife…um…weird

    7. ClutchCargo

Irish son seems weirdly vindictive about a teenager who simply chose to sign with a different school out of high school. Who equates that to a cheating wife?

    8. henderblue

Thetruthshall with the comment of the day. “If he didn’t take your mom back…” Golden! Irish son an obvious troll and hater. Who in their right mind wouldn’t want this kid?

    9. satcheluk

      UL fan? Lol Go away.

    10. Irish son

He said tonight he was staying! You people are morons. Like I said, screw this kid

  4. AirForceOne

Look at his Twitter page. He has been posting a lot of Kentucky stuff there recently. Me thinks he sees how Josh Aalen has developed into a superstar, and wants that same path.

    1. Luether

Me thinks he’s an immature, selfish, disloyal, opportunist who says one thing and then does another…

    2. Blue Bill

Loser, I mean Luether, you’re an idiot.

    3. N-UR-i

Luether is our resident moron and jealous rival fan. Ignore all his posts.

    4. Thetruthshallsetbennyfree

Luether while I hate to see you comment I’m glad to see your sister/mom, what ever you call her, finally let you out of the cage for some fresh air.

    5. monteverdi

Of course he was immature. He was 18 and had a chance to play for one of college football’s marquee names. Sometimes when you get to the other side, the grass isn’t as green as it appeared.

  5. bwise

    Going for 0-2? Lolol

  6. Gus Chiggins

If this happens we had a hell of a defensive recruiting year, but we need stars on offense. We’ve yet to break the seal and sign that star on the offensive side. Not a lot of offensive prospects are signing up for Grans offense.

    1. Thetruthshallsetbennyfree

Tisdale, Crumes, Gilmore, and Ognenovic can be a nice combo if the reach their potential. Right now Tisdale and crumes fill a hole but it would be nice if Gilmore could phone a friend.

    2. Wade

      Lee is out there still….

    3. Thetruthshallsetbennyfree

I forgot about Richardson but I believe he’s waiting on Lee.

    4. notFromhere

      Richardson “waiting on Lee”…

Not if he wants to play this fall. He needs to be here in the spring to get time with the QB.

    5. Thetruthshallsetbennyfree

Richardson didn’t sign, the only reason this makes since is if he is slighty committed which I’m not worried about or he is worried Lee will show up and get the majority of the non Bowden catches.

  7. AirForceOne

Maybe he sees all the Kentucky LInebackers and Ends going to the NFL and wants to be the next. Kentucky gets them ready better than anyone.

  8. Duuuuuude

On the D, we really could use some stud D-Backs. The line is good!

On the O, we have great RB’s and line. Hope we can develop a good passing game to help open the run.

    1. Thetruthshallsetbennyfree

Douglass is a stud and can be Edwards 2.0, the JUCO Mosley was highly recruited and should be a good prototype Stoops CB, and Dobson has SEC size, speed, and athleticism. Plus we return some productive backups.

  9. ky1988

Where he only played one game does that mean he could play next season.

    1. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

I don’t think so. I think he would still have to sit for a year since this isn’t a JC transfer like Terry.

    2. beskag2

Didn’t they change the transfer rule recently to where you can play up to 4 games and still be eligible to transfer and play immediately? Or maybe that just pertains to redshirting, can’t remember.

    3. satcheluk

True, minus the play immediately part. Still have to sit a year.

  10. Grazilla

Linebackers at UK make money in the NFL. Plain and simple. Come and eat in the SEC my dude.

  11. zoupman

I have a question. If he is so great, why wasn’t he able to get snaps on a bad FSU team?

    1. abobicesaevior

Maybe not getting the correct players on the field was one of the reasons they were terrible.

    2. satcheluk

Freshman don’t typically play at FSU except special teams and only the top freshman get on for special teams.

    3. Logic_Prevails

They also signed (4) four other OLBs like him in the same class and a few more this year. If they had upperclassmen it would be easy to get lost in the shuffle.

  12. davis2319

Makes you wonder how many more recruits who had a chance to come here are thinking “I made the biggest mistake of my life” after watching our success this past season. Vince Marrow wasn’t kidding when he said there are kids that are thinking that.

  13. kydrummer

    Come on home big fella!

  14. clarks

He knows he made a mistake just like jarren Williams who I still think may still transfer if he doesn’t win the job in spring ball at the U

  15. notFromhere

If he’s willing to work hard and be a high character guy for UK, no way you don’t take him if he wants to come. He has to legitimately earn his time, just as everyone else has.

  16. Chacosrule

Pffffft hahaha! Strike 2. Breaking news! He maybe might be thinking about transferring here. Aaaaaannnnd…Nope.

  17. Irish son

HAHAHAHA I tried to tell y’all! Screw this kid!
