A Look at Kentucky’s 20 Signees in the 2018 Recruiting Class

@BJ_4

Kentucky is off to a great start with the 2018 recruiting class. Mark Stoops and Vince Marrow expected to sign about 90 percent of the class on the first day of the first ever Early Signing Period, and that’s exactly what they’ve done this morning.

Stoops hopes to finish the class with 23-24 players.  Right now Kentucky has 20 signees and Stoops said, “I expect a few more pieces to be in here sometime this morning.”

The last committed Cat who has not signed is Xavier Peters.  The four-star All-American linebacker could sign at any moment over the next three days, but he will likely wait until the traditional National Signing Day on the first Wednesday of February.

Kentucky’s current crop of signees features All-American offensive tackle Darian Kinnard, surprise signing day addition Bryce Oliver and eight from the state of Florida, the most Mark Stoops has ever recruited in one class from The Sunshine State.

Stealing players from the Sunshine State, not to mention Ohio, and Michigan (the latter 2 being 4 star players!!!) Good sign of things to come

I really hope we can Beef up Qua Mahone.
Those 195 pound DT usually get killed in the SEC.
Seriously, a top 25 class by 24-7 and Duffy and Mahone are not even ranked by the service.
Hope we can pull some BIG NAMES for the final 3-5 spots and absolutely kill THIS CLASS.

      Qua Mahone is 275. That’s a typo.

    2. My Dixie Wrecked

      247 has it ranked 28.

Do you think Peters ends up signing with us in a few months? I know there were rumors he was wavering right after he committed and now he appears to be holding out for bigger fish. Hope he stays!

I was thinking the same thing. I really want this kid

3 Star kicker or punter is like a 5 Star positional player

    1. rartis1986

Yeah Luke, they were the TOP 2 kickers in the class. These Loserville idiots dont get it but special teams is more important than most people give it credit.

    2. bigblueNate

They should get it tho, that how they lost to us last season lol

How will this class rank in the SEC of 14 teams??? How will it rank against In-State Rival LOUISVILLE??? Asking for a friend…

    1. J-Dub421

Lol, we all know you don’t have any friends.
