Great read and is there anyway to bring up the archives on the amount of trouble KU players have been in the last 5 seasons. I feel like they have players suspended at a rate that rivals Florida’s football team.

I don’t know about anyone else but I can’t type when I really want to type…

Because this is a business. “you know how much the product would suffer if we lost all the good coaches?! How much money we’d lose?!”

Bill Self gets away with more stuff than Cal gets accused of, and that’s a lot. But I don’t blame Kansas for playing the denial game. Not only did it work for UNC and Roy (and Duke/K with jewelry and Maggette), but we also saw what happened last year with Arizona. Report comes out Miller knew/was involved. Arizona puts him on leave. Report’s found to be filled with holes. Miller back to coaching and Arizona looks clueless. Why risk conflict with the coach and fans if the NCAA isn’t going to bother you?

Speak without direct names and nothing can be done.. they can say they were talking about anything!!! too many moving parts in basketball! If youpaid a player you get 2 yr suspension as a coach or individual and players are ineligible and owe the money back to charity! If you want money play for lavar ball or others! The nba should step in and say players that take money can only make league minimums that stops big players from taking money and just picking a career path!

Once again they managed to work in a Kentucky reference without citing any actual source or an actual quote.

No wonder self always has that “inappropriate for the moment” smirk on his face all of the time. He’s one of the Untouchables, like K, Droopy, Calhound the Arrhythmiatic, and Wooden. They all knew/know their players are getting money, but everyone focuses on Cal to distract from it, just as they focused on Rupp. The NCAA and the larger portion of the media are corrupt, biased, and don’t care about the athletes past what they can do for them.
