He’s just following in the footsteps of Bill Self except Self has never had to sit out a game.

    1. Doctor21

Oh yes, I would let him coach again. He can be head coach of Federal Correctional Institute Tigers.

  2. henderblue

What he’s really saying is, people cheat and lie all the time. I got caught. So what. Who cares? Put me in, I’m ready to coach.

    1. 4everUKblue

They haven’t really done anything to a coach yet so what makes anyone think they will start now?

    2. henderblue

      You’re exactly right 4ever

    3. DelrayCat

I mean if the president of the United States can lie with every breath, and clearly cheated his way to the presidency… yet half of America turns a blind eye to it… Why wouldn’t Will Wade get the same treatment?

    4. StuckinLville

Somebody is butt hurt about Killary. Kinda like how people turned a blind eye to all of Obama’s lies and scandals huh?

    5. StillBP

oh geez some goofball always has to turn the convo to politics. Why would Wade get same treatment as the President? No one gets the same treatment as the President. Do we need to pay for Secret Service for Wade? These are all rhetorical questions, no need to argue.

    6. 4everUKblue

Delray you act as if this is the first president to lie with every breath, name one who hasn’t. No one gets selected (not elected) by telling the truth.

    7. 4everUKblue

StillBP nailed it, I’m sorry I got sucked into that one.

    8. DelrayCat

Sure every politician lies somewhat , but have we ever seen this degree of pathological mendacity an American society before? The man stacks lie upon lie upon lie and is typically contradicted by things he clearly said in previous statements captured on video. But instead of admitting his mistake, he doubles down and lies again. Even his most ardent supporters probably wonder why he would tell such obvious lies. And he does it over and over again… Thousands upon thousands upon thousands of clearly provable lies just in the last two years alone… it’s pathological. At any level of government, in any party, have we ever seen anything like this? It’s nuts. And it’s rubbing off on society in very insidious ways.

    9. 4everUKblue

Yes I have, it’s nothing new, same deal different administration. Enough politics, this is a sports site.

    10. Matt10

Delray, you need to step away from the fakebook and lying establishment media, take a breath and let the brain fog dissipate. Yeah, I remember when the last potus to lie like a snake and murder with the best was…he retired almost three years ago. They’re all scumbags.
Now keep your ridiculous politics away from this sports site. We come here to get away from that crap. Thanks.

    11. madarchitect

Reading the comments above, it reminds me of a statement made about fifth avenue that seems to have turned out to be true.

    12. jaws2

DelrayCat= CLASSIC Trump derangement syndrome. Sad, very, very, sad.

    13. grammarpoliceUK

Really if politics invade every thing you do, you should probably seek some psychiatric help!

  3. Mad Max

Dude is guilty as hell!! I will submit to fbi and employer questions at any time. Why? Because I didn’t do anything wrong. He has right to due process in court of law, but not by his employer!!

    1. DelrayCat

I wonder how many of BBN feel this way about WW, yet have a completely contradicting and hypocritical stance when it comes to Individual-1 who is implicated in multiple felonies yet is given a pass by so many here.

    2. StuckinLville

I dont know anyone who likes WW. Also, evidence please.

    3. sprtphan

Just a suggestion Delray but try using your love of sports as a distraction from your Trump fetish. May result in a brighter day for you and everyone around you. No charge for this psychiatric evaluation.

  4. Suffering Fools

    Go, Florida/Arkansas winner!

  5. Realme

Didn’t Sean Miller get suspended for a couple minutes and then reinstated? Why not do the same thing if you’re LSU?

    1. ClutchCargo

LSU was dumb enough to fall into the trap of cooperating with the NCAA. I’m starting to think the dirty little secret is that the NCAA doesn’t want schools to cooperate anymore. Then when there is only sketchy evidence, they don’t have to do anything.

    2. StillBP

Maybe LSU is having second thoughts about an obvious cheater running their bball program? Perhaps the more that comes out and the dirtier he looks, someone is finally acknowledging that they don’t want this type of character? Idk *shrugs*

    3. CatsfaninFL

I think the thing LSU (and really all of these programs) need to worry about is that if there is even an inkling of something going wrong and the NCAA goes in they get to fully look into the entire program. Who got hit the hardest when NCAA went into Memphis looking at basketball? It was like Women’s Golf and Men’s Tennis or something like that. LSU has to think long and hard if they want the NCAA meddling in ALL of their programs. I’d be surprised if they would risk it with Wade when playing him could potentially bring more scrutiny and an investigation into not only basketball but potentially football. I’m not saying they’re guilty with anything, I’m just saying football is king and a cash cow.

    4. Mad Max

NCAA under Mark Emmett makes FIFA look good.

  6. chris gettelfinger is not walking through that door

    Well, this is getting entertaining.

  7. Cats fan 00

Is LSU trying to save face? To late. Let him coach and Smart play. Either way all these wins will be forfeited.

  8. Bluebloodtoo

Idk, this seems like an appropriate response when you have an FBI trial pending….if you are guilty.

  9. jahanc2uky

Didnt Bruce Pearl do the same thing at the beginning of last season?

  10. LouisaCatFan

Will Wade can wish in one hand, crap in the other and see which one fills up the quickest. That man should not be allowed around another program for 10 years.

  11. makeitstop

He’s just preserving his legal claim against the university, by saying he was ready, willing and able to perform. Otherwise they say we put a reasonable condition on, u decided not to comply, and this is it’s a resignation. I wouldn’t read much more into it. He’s going to testify in a criminal trial about this incident next month, so he has two concerns: not going to jail, and making some money to pay these lawyers, and cover him til he gets back in coaching, and this letter addresses those needs.

    1. ClutchCargo

      This is the correct answer.

  12. KYJelly

He’s guilty, not not found guilty yet. If LSU was gonna continue to let him coach until then, they wouldn’t have suspended him. Reinstating him after the suspension only for him to be officially “guilty” and then removed would be a very bad look for LSU. Sorry Will, ain’t gonna happen

  13. UKinIN

Of course he wants to be reinstated. I could be wrong but, other than Putin, any coach that the FBI’s evidence has named, other than those already arrested, still has his job. Why would Wade want to be the first to lose his job?

    1. UKinIN

Putin = Pitino. Autocorrect got me.

Looks like autocorrect got it right then, LOL.

  14. Racerr11

Poor Delray Cat you are a pitiful human. After 2 years of digging as deep as they can they’ve said they have no evidence what so ever of collusion or cheating in anyway by President Trump. He won fair and square by a large Marg and will win again by a landslide in 2020. It’s people like you and the idiots of the Democratic party that will let the greatest president of all time win again. Thank you President Trump. Continue to make America Great.

    1. Bluebloodtoo

Trump preys on the ill informed. Good luck with that.

  15. Racerr11

4ever UK blue we wish you were a loserville fan because u sound like a sore loser. Dud u really want Hillary, u can’t be serious. Another idiot

    1. 4everUKblue

Racer, you’re an idiot and not that it’s any of your business but I’ve never taken any politician’s side and if you kept up on here you’d know that. You don’t sound like a UK fan or a sore loser, just a total jackass.

    2. 4everUKblue

And you should try to learn how to respond to the proper comment, douche bag.

    3. cats646

Sorry racer, 4ever just made you look stupid. Not that you needed any help. And this is coming from a republican.

    4. 4everUKblue

Thanks 646, I’m neither democrat or republican.

    5. RealCatsFan

I didn’t vote for either one of those losers. Sorriest lair of presidential candidates in the history of mankind. America, please give us an independent third party candidate ASAP.

  16. Racerr11

LSU did the right thing by suspending coach and player immediately, it’s obvious they cheated per NCAA rules and by the law that all citizens are supposed to abide by period. If loserville would of fired pitino immediately after cypher case or stripper case they would not be in all the mess there in now. LSU is trying to avoid that mess. Very smart move.

  17. Big johnson

I’m sure bill Cosby would like his gig back with jello pudding

When I first read this I read it with out the “wants”. I was gonna be very angry

What Wade “wants” doesn’t count. I am sure he “wants” that audiotape to dissolve, too.

  21. BBN3023

    But he broke the law?
