WATCH: Jarred Vanderbilt shows off jumper in offseason workout

One of the concerns about this season’s team is shooting, but if this video of Jarred Vanderbilt is any indication, maybe we shouldn’t be so worried. Check out Vanderbilt showing off his jumper at a workout at Texas Southern yesterday:

The team is on break right now between the summer and fall sessions, but that hasn’t stopped Vanderbilt from being in the gym. ICYMI, on Monday, he worked out with De’Aaron Fox:

JV is on the 1 year plan of action. Fox leading him is noteworthy. #Familia

I attended the Karl Anthony Towns camp with my friend and his kids and we had a front row seat for next year’s team. The guy I was most impressed with was Baker. His shot is pure and my friend was comparing him to Chris Lofton…if we need 3s he has us. On another note, the pure size of the team is amazing and the way they were cutting up tells me they really like each other. I’m hoping we buy into defense early because we can put up some points and will cause match up problems for teams.

I think Vanderbilt will be the best player on the team next season. If you watched the Allstar games, he was fast, he can jump, he was a tremendous passer (team player), and he handled the ball better than most of the guards. He’s one and done.

Razor sounds like something Ryan Pop-Nuts would say.
