Hamidou Diallo is projected as a second round pick in next week’s draft, but after watching him work out and interviewing him for ESPN, Jonathan Givony thinks teams are sleeping on the former Cat. Givony posted this footage of Diallo earlier today, noting how impressive he was on and off the court:

In the video, Hami explains what he learned in his year and a half at Kentucky and how doesn’t regret returning to school last summer. He also shows off his trademark athleticism and what appears to be an improved jump shot, the mechanics of which he says he’s been working on since the season ended.
Hami struggled at Kentucky, but it’s hard not to root for him after watching interviews like this. Hopefully he lands with a team that has the right kind of system for his game and the patience to let him to grow.
