WATCH: Drew goes on “Inside Edition”

Screen Shot 2017-03-20 at 3.52.11 PM

When Drew told me this morning he was going on “Inside Edition” to talk about the video of Gregg Marshall’s wife, I thought he was joking. Turns out, he wasn’t. Check out this teaser clip of the interview, which might be the most absurd thing I’ve ever seen:

Whatever. I told him I’m not going to be impressed until he ends up on “A Current Affair.”

If this Power Couple isn’t the perfect duo to take over Tom Crean’s position at Indiana, I don’t know who is.

Hilarious. But has it hit TMZ yet?

Wichita State has gotten more press coverage today than they did the year they were undefeated going into to game against UK

Lynn Marshall embarrassed herself and looked like a trailer park queen. With that said, this story is pretty stupid and needs to go away. She is completely irrelevant. For KSR to keep harping on marshall’s absurdity is petty, douchey, and immature. You’ve reported the story….now let it go. It’s pointless and I’m thinking bad karma could come full circle

I suppose it’s how you perceive the intent here but I disagree that KSR is harping…

The specific items coming from a coaches wife’s mouth
The whole “delete the footage” demand
      The NCAA lying

I mean there is a lot to this for someone to be thought of as harping on a nut going crazy at a game.

unbridled, that’s not an accurate portrayal of what gave this story legs. What made this explode was the NCAA intervening and telling Drew he needed to take it down, then denying they did it.

Please move on to something else. While I agree that she should behave better, I see much much worse at every sporting event I go to from fans of every team. Her behavior definitely didn’t warrant this public humiliation. A four letter word and mild insult directed at a college student shouldn’t result in this. I think most people would consider the mild insult harmless ribbing, not a shocking act of poor sportsmanship. I think there are definitely worse things posted on this site almost daily about opposing players and coaches.

False. She should hold herself to a higher standard of behavior than the average fan. She chose not to do that. She is on video showing her ass during a nationally televised game. Who is to blame for that?

    3. nashvillecatsfan

She should hold herself to a high standard, as should everyone else. No need to publicly shame her for something like this. She didn’t go all Bobby Knight or anything like that. I agree that she is a representative of the school and should conduct herself better. There was no need to put her on blast on twitter. She said a 4 letter word and made a mild insult toward a legal adult at a sporting event. Put your big boy pants on.

    4. nashvillecatsfan

And what kind of language do you think is coming out of the players and coaches mouths? Should she be held to a higher standard than them?

    5. Squall Leonhart

Nothing you’ve said is accurate. First of all, what gave this story so much attention was the NCAA’s intervention telling KSR they had to take the video down, then subsequently denying they did so to cause it to explode twice over…I think that’s pretty clear, yet you act as though you were unaware of this. Without that the story would have died. Second of all, a coach’s wife hurling F-bombs and personal insults at players is beyond inappropriate and your comments that the coaches do the same thing to the players is just nonsense…and now posting that other people on the court use bad language is somehow the equivalent to this? Just stop.

    6. nashvillecatsfan

He knew what he was doing when he posted the video and yes coaches do use language like that toward players and players use that same language toward each other. The coaches and players are the ones with contractual obligations to represent the school, not the spouses. I do agree that she acted poorly, but the level of outrage over a 4 letter word and very mild insult is laughable. I don’t know how such sensitive people get through life. Grow up. People use salty language sometime. Much worse is said all the time at games all the time. I have seen expletives fly out of caliparis and most coaches mouths on television. They should be held to a higher standard than their spouses.

Inside Edition still being on is a even bigger story.

Well, you’ve got a point there. LOL. And Tyler Thompson said she wouldn’t be impressed until he ends up on “A Current Affair” – and that program was cancelled more than decade ago. πŸ™‚
