It’s a slow Thursday afternoon, so how about a reminder to vote for your University of Kentucky Wildcats in the NCAA’s Team of the Decade bracket? The Cats are facing the Purdue Boilermakers (huh?) in the championship and currently lead with 60% of the votes. The poll closes tomorrow.
#MMToD National Championship:
Vote for the top Team of the Decade all-star squad!
— NCAA March Madness (@marchmadness) September 3, 2019
Shoutout to Boilermakers fans for getting their squad this far, but the road ends here. The Big Blue Nation’s online presence is just as dominant as the Cats’ all-star team of John Wall, Devin Booker, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Anthony Davis, and Karl Towns.
How did Purdue make it to the finals? A seven-seed, the Boilermakers beat Cincinnati, Louisville, Butler, Duke, and UConn. On the other side of the bracket, one-seed Kentucky beat New Mexico State, Texas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Michigan State.
In online polls and actual sports, Go Cats.
