As of now, tonight’s game between Kentucky and LSU will be played as scheduled.  LSU Basketball’s Twitter account just tweeted the following:

“As of 10:30 am CST no change in status for @LSUBasketball and UK at 8 tonight. Plans are being made to play the game.”

Game on.

I hope an empty arena, similar to the Baylor game, doesn’t drain our team.

I agree. I would almost prefer that the stadium is packed. The team played with a lot of heart against Arkansas, and I liked their energy level. If the officials didn’t blow the whistle every 3 seconds I like our chances that game. Those are good experiences for this team.

I think young teams fuel off the energy that the crowd gives them.

Glad game is on – don’t have to listen to POTUS BS everyone tonite.

The POTUS normally forces us to listen! But we will boycott. Soon, with a new and acceptable POTUS, all of our international and domestic issues will be resolved! Yea!

I’m seeing lines between Kentucky -3 and 4 now. I knew that -1.5 was ridiculous. How often does a January Wednesday night game move from -1.5 to -4? Answer: not often. Must have been heavy, heavy action on Kentucky.

Still think Kentucky is good at -3.5, but not quite the almost sure thing -1.5 was. Line should have been -6.5 or -7. LSU doesn’t have the home court advantage that UNC, Arkansas or Vanderbilt have.

      Today is Tuesday 😉

Yeah, I was asking how often it happens on a Wednesday night game because I assume it is similar to a Tuesday night game. Duh. What are you, stupid?

Let’s All Join in – POTUS doesn’t force us to listen (and I indeed won’t) Can’t wait for a new POTUS who respects the constitution. Probably be a repeat of the former SOTU address. Glad I can watch UK

      What’s a “looser” ?

Writing in the vernacular so as to be understood.

I read the article you linked, and while it is definitely left-slanted and will b be slammed by those who lean the other way, one line in it rings true to me above all the rest: “there’s another more pernicious kind of ignorance we confront today. It is the product of years of ideological and political polarization and the deliberate effort by the most fanatical and intolerant parties in that conflict to manufacture more ignorance by lying about many aspects of our history and even our recent past.”

I don’t agree with everything that was said in the article, and there is plenty of damage being done to American society by those with leftward leanings as by those on the far right, but almost NO ONE takes a moderate, common sense stance on politics anymore, it seems. That is the problem with our country, and it’s a major reason that nothing of any substance is getting done. And that’s the way our elected officials want it. They can just point fingers at the other side of the aisle while they laugh all the way to the bank. Snap out of it everyone and let’s find a viable third party without ties to all the lobbyists.

Can’t agree more with RealCatsFan. I love how one side of the political spectrum jumps up and down, yelling to proclaim the other side as “loosers”, when that other side is doing the same. Rs and Ds are both sucking the life out of the country and both fail to see the reality of our bought and paid for gubmit (more modern vernacular, eh??).

Enough of that political crap…GO CATS!

I hope the fine folks in Louisiana are enjoying all this global warming as much as we are. Maybe “The Messiah” will announce how HE will help cool the planet and save us from this extreme heat during his hour of bulls**t tonight. After all,HE lowered the sea levels didn’t he? Sorry I’m going to miss it.

I live in Chicago, used to own a horse farm in lexington,am a HUGE UK fan and think Kentucky is the most beautiful place on earth. Unfortunetly, part of its population reinforces the sterotype that many nonn-kentuckians have when they make disrepectful comments about POTUS He is the President and deserves our respect and support. You fools will probably look back fondly on him after he leaves and you have to suffer for 8 more years with Hillary
