Two of Bahamas’ best players will NOT play against the Cats tonight

Two of Bahamas’ best players will be sitting out against the Cats tonight.

Shaquille Cleare and Dwight Coleby have been announced as OUT.

Cleare, a 6-foot-8, 264-pound center, played for Maryland (2012-14) and Texas (2015-17) in college. In his first season as a professional player, Cleare played for the Swiss team ‘Pully.’

He averages 12 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest.

Coleby, a 6-foot-9, 245-pound power forward, played at Ole Miss, Kansas, and Western Kentucky, averaging 11.1 points and 8.0 rebounds for the Hilltoppers as a fifth-year senior. He also played for the New Orleans Pelicans in the Summer League last month.

He is the brother of Kadeem Coleby, a former Wichita State power forward, who WILL play for the Bahamas tonight.

It’ll still be a battle for the Cats, but certainly not the challenge we once thought.

Go Cats.
