Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to announce on SportsCenter

We now know when to expect Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s announcement.

According to Adam Zagoria, Gilgeous-Alexander will announce his NBA decision on the Monday evening edition of SportsCenter. His appearance is scheduled for 6:45 ET.

It is highly unlikely he announces a return to Kentucky, but you should watch anyway.

Calipari at his best. He gets to get on SportsCenter, talk about how he wasn’t a star recruit, and how no one expected anything from him, to now being a lottery pick. There is no better recruiting pitch.

Yep. Free commercial for BBN, hope Hagan’s is tuned in. He’s the best at earned media I ever saw… now if he can just learn to scream TIMEOUT. (Too soon?)

Now he needs to get us a guard that’ll help get us an NCAA title!!

Alexander was not supposed to be the star of the class and ended up being just that. Congrats to the young man and I hope he has a very long and successful career in the league.

Yes, he is an example of Calipari making these young men’s dreams come true. They still have to put in the work, but Coach Cal is the catalyst for their development.

Next season will be loads of fun and the Cats should be a very talented and dangerous team. This past season, they were short on experience. Would have been nice to have had a juco or a grad transfer who was a big time scorer. They needed points. That being said, I have always been all in for Coach Calipari. Would’t trade him for anybody else out there. Should be plenty of experience on next season’s team and Coach won’t have to yell and pull his hair out as much.

    Go Cats!

Your giving Cal too much credit. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn from time to time…
