KSR has learned the presale codes for the CBS Sports Classic, which will take place at the United Center in Chicago on Dec. 22nd. Ohio State and UCLA kickoff the event at 2:00 p.m. and then Kentucky will take on North Carolina for the first time since the 2017 Elite Eight game.

Click this link to get to the TicketMaster page.

Once there enter any (or all) of there four codes (in all caps):

  • CBSCATS18
  • CBSBUCKEYES18
  • CBSBRUINS18
  • CBSTARHEELS18

Great seats are currently available, so gobble them up and let’s make sure the United Center is the right shade of blue in December. A little expert advice- the 300 level at the United Center is a joke. I wouldn’t suggest buying seats in that level because the views are terrible. Plenty of 100 and 200 level seats are accessible.

There are still first row seats under the north carolina or OSU presales. Very expensive though.

Pro-tip: The 200 level has complimentary coat check. They’ve also revamped many of the concessions/bars on that level in the past couple of years if you haven’t been to the United Center recently. In general, there are far better food options there than there were two years ago. You’re still SOL if you want anything other than Bud or Bulleit in the beer and bourbon categories though.

Also, they just opened a new “supper club” restaurant in the adjacent Atrium complex called Queenie’s Supper Club. It’s pricey, but possibly a good option for some, if you prefer one-stop dining and hoops.. Be sure to make a reservation ASAP via OpenTable though, as they’ll be booked come gameday.

I live in Chicago and our family has been fortunate enough to have season tickets for both the Bulls and Blackhawks. Just food for thought, if you are looking for better views it looks like the Buckeyes are getting the best sections assigned to them.
