PJ Washington is using a scooter as well

Well, the mystery of PJ Washington’s foot injury just ramped up a notch. PJ arrived at the arena tonight using a knee scooter to protect the hard cast on his foot. Before you puke, you’re not supposed to walk on a hard cast, but still, the images are a little jolting nonetheless.

First no walking boot, then a walking boot, then a hard cast, now a hard cast and scooter. I’m almost scared to see what’s next.

    Ugh

  2. BCO

    Frig..

  3. JT55

He gone. I just don’t see him playing unless they reach the Final Four, which now looks very unlikely.

  4. ScoggDog

    He’s not coming back.

And when Cal says – “He really wants to play” – that’s Cal’s way of saying “He ain’t gonna’ play”.

Watch the social media of the other kids. They’ll let the cat out of the bag.

    1. JT55

      I agree. He’s done.

    2. 4everUKblue

Yeah he’ll be laid to rest on Sunday.

  5. KYFAN4LYFE

Don’t worry…he’ll have that cast off well before the NBA combine. Oh well, more playing time for Nick and EJ.

    Non story

  7. Bigblue7982

Here comes the couch doctors relax guys he’ll be back.

    1. JT55

Not likely. They don’t put a hard cast on to take it back off in a week. Looking at 2-3 weeks minimum.

    2. Led Weappelin

Agree. I think PJ is finished as a Wildcat. Stuff like this just happens. Let’s move on we got some games to win.

    3. 4everUKblue

Are you a doctor? Because if you’re not, you don’t know any more than any of the rest of us.

    4. Bobbum Man

U do realize that they do in fact do that right? A hard cast can help heal the foot faster and makes sure there’s no further aggravation… it’s not exactly hard to remove it

Jesus there’s so many salty, butt hurt fans around here. Get o we yourselves and learn to mellow out, damn.

Murray is crushing Marquette! Morant is the real deal.

    1. 4everUKblue

Morant is putting on a show with a triple double.

  9. Catlogic15

I doubt PJ plays again this year. What a shame.

  10. ScoggDog

Fresher post up top – there’s so much exciting news now to see … don’t bother with this PJ stuff.

Nothing to see here. Move along.

  11. Kat4Life

There is 100% probability that he will play, perhaps as early as this weekend. Quit overreacting. He’s not going to miss the only NCAA tournament of his life over a sprained foot

    1. Kat4Life

Sorry……I got carried away there. Obviously he played in the tournament last year.

    2. UKBigBlueForever

Ummm, his only tourney? You realize he played on our team last year right? Gtfo of here noob

    3. Kat4Life

      Angry little toad aren’t you…..f-off

    4. JT55

I don’t see it. No way they put a hard cast on to take it off in two days. 2-3 week minimum. It will be extremely difficult for them on Sat without him. Terrible luck for PJ

  12. gasman01

He will not play this weekend. We should win tonight, but Saturday just became a whole lot harder!!!

  13. Jharriscgcs

That sucks. He’s done. Thanks for a great season PJ! Best of luck at the next level

  14. CatfaninCinci

How do you go from precautionary, to I think he’ll play, to this???

    1. 1IH

      Vegas Baby! That is how.

    2. Luether

      It’s called being dishonest…

  15. Larkin123

With injuries and c always look at the setup… its a slow walk to something bad. Step here step there…

  16. mrwayne

Any chance he just won’t keep a boot on, so they put him in a cast?

  17. Larkin123

Pain is a ten and you said to our fans you expected him to play…

    1. JT55

The next honest thing Cal says, could be the first thing he says when it comes to injuries.

  18. chrislarkey

When exactly at what point did he hurt it vs tn

  19. satcheluk

Is this the chicken little coup? I am shocked (actually I am not) at all the assumptive negativity.
