John Calipari’s former assistant coach, Orlando Antigua, is facing an NCAA investigation.
According to Jeff Goodman, the investigation into academic fraud revolves around Orlando’s brother, USF assistant coach Oliver Antigua. During the ongoing investigation, Oliver has not been permitted to recruit on the road.
Orlando Antigua was John Calipari’s assistant for six years, spending one year at Memphis before following Cal to Kentucky for five years. Since he was hired by USF in 2014, the Bulls have only won 16 games compared to 47 losses, including a 84-63 loss to the Cats in Miami last November.
Jeff Goodman reports that Oliver Antigua has resigned from his position as assistant coach.
