It’s been a year and a half since UK unveiled its new Wildcat logo — you know, the fornicating birds one — and despite initial backlash, it’s slowly starting to grow on fans. The McDonald’s in Lexington is even using the new Wildcat logo on its cups this fall for football season:

It is interesting to me how, for the most part, the younger you are, the more you like the new logo. My nephews in particular are obsessed with it, and the players, both football and basketball, seem to prefer it over the old Cat, which just goes go to show that the older you get, the more you hate change. Or, the older you get, the more you can’t get the image of two birds doing the nasty out of your head (NSFW!):
