Kings reportedly willing to trade two top-10 picks to move up for Fox

The Kings want De’Aaron Fox.

The Kings want De’Aaron Fox so bad, the organization is reportedly interested in packaging its two top-10 picks at No. 5 and No. 10 to move up in the draft to secure the former Kentucky point guard.

From the Sporting News’ report:

Markelle Fultz and Lonzo Ball are expected to be selected 1-2, but after that it gets a bit murky with the 76ers on the clock at No. 3. Fox has rocketed up draft boards and if he isn’t taken by the 76ers, then the Suns are likely to draft him at No. 4. The Kings, seeing no way Fox will drop to No. 5, would likely trade with Philadelphia to guarantee Fox is a King.

As a former Sacramento fan who knows it is run by the worst management in sports, it breaks my heart to think Fox could end up there. But as a fan of Fox, I think it’s a pretty good move if the Kings can pull it off.

Fox was in Sacramento on Sunday and Monday, and it sounds like he did too much to impress everyone.

In this draft… Fox is not worth it.

A potential elite PG isn’t worth it?

    2. TBW3011

Not in this draft. The quality of the players available at Pick 5 and 10 will be very high. And it isn’t like he Kings are missing 1 piece and it’s a PG. they need everything.

How about finding out vanderbilt’s leg instead of worrying about someone who’s gone.

Cause there’s obviously nothing wrong with it??? God you’re a dumb***

Don’t insult dumb***es everywhere by calling Randy a dumb***.

      1. Because they aren’t mutually exclusive
      2. It may be impossible to find out about the leg.
      3. What is finding out about it going to matter or change anyway?

The fact that they want to do this trade in this draft makes me hope they dont pull it off. Just shows they still have no goal and would just waste his early career and stunt his early development.

He may be gone at #1. Wouldn’t that make the prognosticators unhappy. Fox is better than either of them, especially Ball. If the Lakers take Ball before Fox they are stupid.

I agree. If the Lakers pass on Fox and pick Ball, they are simply foolish! Though he is local, Fox is a much better prospect.

Lakers should let them trade up and take whoever they don’t choose and still have two more picks in the top 10.

  5. Cannon717

I hope my lakers take Fox at 2.

      Does Magic make the decision?

As bad as the situation may be at Philly, please, God, don’t let him end up in Sacramento.

Its funny I ask a simple question about something that’s never been addressed and you to little bitches attack me. I wonder why?

Someone asks the same question weekly on the radio show, and the answer is always the same – there is no news out of UK regarding his injury. In the meantime there are plenty of other topics to write about.
