Kentucky Now Has the Longest Active Winning Streak In the Country

Coming into the game this afternoon, Wichita State was riding high, having won 16 games in a row. At the time, that was the longest active winning streak in the country. Kentucky, on the other hand, had a 12-game win streak under their belt, which was second only to the Shockers.

Oh, how the tables have turned.

With the win today, Kentucky now has the longest active winning streak in the country at 13 games in a row. Can’t think of a better time of year for that stat.

NC needed some major league help from the referees to squeak by Arkansas. Under a minute left in the game and they only had 3 fouls. Good thing NC was ahead; they couldn’t put Arkansas on the line if they wanted to.

The SEC is 7-2 with 3 teams advancing to the sweet 16. The ACC is 7-8 with 1 team left. That’s embarrassing for your so called great league. SEC!!!
