If Joe Lunardi’s latest prediction holds steadfast, Kentucky’s mantra this March will be Manifest Destiny.
ESPN’s resident Bracketologist has updated his 64-team bracket and slated Kentucky as a four-seed in the East Region. To reach Washington D.C., they would first have to beat Georgia State and the winner of Wisconsin-Lipscomb in Salt Lake City.
Starting the postseason in Utah is not ideal, but if it means getting the chance to end Wisconsin’s season, so be it.
If you do not trust Lunardi, Bracket Matrix finds the average seed among all of the nation’s Bracketologists. Currently Kentucky is the last four-seed, just ahead of Miss. State and behind Florida State.
