Julius Randle in a bowtie wants you to listen to his interview on KSR

This morning, Julius Randle called into the show to talk about the draft and clear up that rumor that he skipped a second workout with the Boston Celtics in order to do an interview with GQ Magazine. Randle says that rumor is false, and the GQ interview–which he pointed out could be done in 15-20 minutes–was not the reason he decided not to do the second workout for the Celtics.

Hear his reasoning and how he’s feeling about tomorrow’s draft below:

Then tune into the rest of the podcast from lovely Pikeville, stop #3 on the KSR Summer Tour. A great crowd came out for the show, including two of our favorites, Rose and Chubb. I know Rose probably brought some of her famous apple cider from the holler with her, and I’m incredibly jealous of the guys for that. Bomani Jones also called in to give his thoughts on the Draft and catch up on old times. Here are the podcasts, and the rest of the tour schedule:

Can someone get Julius a new iPhone? Geez kid. Looks like he dunked on his phone.

That’s clearly not his phone, it appears to be a reporters using it as a recording device

Get it right on the schedule, guys! Tomorrow “Williamson – Southside Mall (the Kentucky side)” ?
If you’re in Williamson, you’re in West Virginia. South Williamson is a town located in Pikeville, Kentucky, which is where the Southside Mall is located… now you know…

  3. Steve in Frankfort

Me, too! Pike County, not Pikeville…

Look at that shattered ass iPhone. Reminds me how happy I am that mine shattered and I switched to the S4 (too cheap for the S5).

Did anyone notice that the first hour included the news at the beginning and left off the interview of Bomani Jones at the end of the hour?
