It doesn’t matter where Pitino lands, he will be a winner. At a place with resources like Michigan it would happen quickly. I know the commenters and KRS hate Pitino but he is still a very good coach. I would dread seeing him in a final four game when he has had a week to prepare.

Rick, please, stop writing comments about yourself in the third person.

Why would you dread seeing him in a final four game? Calipari has pretty well owned Ricky p. He’s definitely a hell of a coach still, but wouldn’t dread him.

lol he was a great coach 20 years ago. Decent coach now.Cal owns him, bring it on! He can’t even get great players anymore, his reputation is ruined.

Getting out while he can….Michigan was one of the schools that was supposedly involved in the FBI scandal.

Well, Rick would feel right at home.

That would actually be hilarious if it happened. Any school that takes a chance on Slick Rick deserves whatever comes after.

Maybe Richard Pitino, but not Rick. No program will touch him. Not that Richard would be a good hire either.

What is being lost in all of this Pitino banter is that Michigan has lost a helluva a coach Maybe the best in the college game. I think he’ll do great with the Cavs. Especially if they win big in the draft lottery. That’s a bg IF. Just ask Pitino.
Speaking of the devil, I dont think Michigan would stoop to that level. Theyre a class act.

Pitino just average coach today and Cal owns him. Michigan would never hire pitino with the black clouds getting darker.

Michigan has been consistently good without consistently good recruiting classes. That tells you everything you need to know about Beilein’s coaching abilities.

Beilein has gotten the players he needs to have consistently good teams. The lack of top rated recruiting classes is probably because he doesn’t load up on one and dones and have to reload every year.
