Draft Express predicts five Cats will go in the first round of the 2015 Draft

fivemock2015

The 2014 NBA Draft is next Thursday, but that hasn’t stopped some analysts from getting a head start on their 2015 mock drafts. Jonathan Givony at Draft Express put out his latest 2015 mock draft yesterday and includes six Kentucky players, five in the first round:

4. Karl Towns
9. Willie Cauley-Stein
19. Dakari Johnson
25. Aaron Harrison
28. Andrew Harrison
42. Alex Poythress

What, no Marcus Lee?

Marcus Lee gets the shaft every time… Makes me mad personally, dudes got what like a 39″ vertical?
    He’ll be gone after 2015.

I suppose it is fun to speculate about this, but it can’t be taken too seriously.

Don’t take mastering the Obama education system to predict us to have five draft picks. Even those dumb liberals at MSNBC could do that.

If the folks at msnbc are dumb what level are the folks at fox? If you pay close attention to the actual fox commentator comments most of them are dumb as hell.

I must be one of the few that thinks Trey Lyles will start next season and be a lottery pick.

I think he’ll start 15-20 games next year, but if he comes back for a sophomore season, he’ll be in that lottery range. Just my opinion though, you could easily be right

There is no way Trey Lyles starts next year think about it, We have two 7 footers who are really PF’s in Karl Towns and WCS. They run the floor to well to be considered centers. I say WCS is closer to a C then Towns is. Starters next year will go like this. Harrison twins at the guard spots because why would you change a back court that took you to the national championship and they will be a year more advanced this year. SF will be Alex P. because he has improved all around.PF will be Karl Towns and the starting Center will be WCS. with him and Towns in the paint there will be no one driving on us and with 6’6 6’6 and 6’8 in the back court it will be equally tough to get a 3 point shot off. Our second team will be PG Tyler Ulis SG Dominique Hawkins SF Devin Booker PF Trey Lyles C Dakari Johnson and the sad thing is I didnt even mention Marcus Lee who I think will def be here until his Jr year. Also Derek Willis who I think will be good down the road but his best bet as Kentucky boy will be to not follow in Jon Hoods footsteps. He should transfer to Western Kentucky were he would be a 3 year starter and be in the 1000 point club. Why ride the pine in games when it is something you have dedicated yourself too. He is a good player but hes not a Calapari system type player. He would be the starting SF or PF for WKU and he would still be adored by Kentucky fans. I like him personally as a player. I just think he would be better served at a smaller university or somewere like Gonzaga…Like Kyle Wiltjer.

I think you are wrong about Johnson he will battle WCS and Towns for an starting spot . Out of this team i think Johnson will stand out this year .Also i think the starting line up is not going to matter because this bench is so loaded with weapons. Threw Hoods career at UK he had his chances to get minutes and i think he had an solid career . Hood loves the Cats and would rather set on there bench than play for Western as would i. In all honesty i am not sure we have ever seen anything like this team at Kentucky before and how they will be used. If everyone remembers this time last year this same ole song and dance of how many were leaving and bottom line 2 left .In all honesty both should have returned for another year .Tj my friend ever how this next year turns out i think we are going to be some happy Cats fans . This could be the start of an real good thing players staying . I would like to see Johnson get tighten up and rule arround that basket on both sides of the ball .Good talking with you. GO BIG BLUE

Oh yea mark it down Devin Booker will lead Kentucky in scoring his sophomore year. His stroke is deadly a step up from Doron Lamb. Which you know how deadly of a shooter Lamb was.
